Why did I choose this as my graphic design
example?
Why I choose this
as my graphic design example, was because from reading the text, it not only
caught me a bit off guard, gave me a good chuckle. Along with the choice of
colors, which made the black bold font pop out, making me want to examine it
more. (It’s a cover for a book)

What is the context in which the design
appeared?
The purpose of
the design, is to definitely catch your attention, and make you curious on what
the book has in it with its interesting text.

What is the communication objective of the
design appeared?
When looking at
it, the message that I receive is that there are ways of enjoying my life
without having caring about what others thing from the big bold letters. It
became popular because of it saying how many copies it has sold when it was
published. And that it was the New York Times best seller book. The supposed author’s
name is on the bottom, and the target audience is most likely for people whose
feelings are not easily hurt.

How does the typography contribute to the
message and the purpose of the design?
The typography
itself is the one giving the message, and the purpose of it, is to get the
reader curious on what this subtle art is, and how it can help on living a good
life. While also telling the readers that it was very popular because of the
tips it gave from the layout of the typography.
